The Carnival of the Animals

The Cultural Foundation and Camerata Schweiz invite you to a festive family concert at the Hotel Laudinella on Easter Monday. Under the baton of internationally acclaimed conductor Howard Griffiths, the audience can look forward to a program that is both entertaining and of the highest caliber. Christian Jott Jenny will guide the audience through the afternoon with charm and subtle humor. The program centers on Camille Saint-Saëns’s The Carnival of the Animals—complemented by melodious and rousing works by Jean-Philippe Rameau, Marin Marais, Johannes Brahms, Béla Bartók, and Astor Piazzolla. The young pianists Arya Su Gülenç and Ilyun Burkev will perform the piano parts.
