Piet Baumgartner is an experienced visual artist and director with a transdisciplinary approach that blends film, theater, and the visual arts. His work focuses on people, machines, and emotions. His production EWS, about the biggest political scandal in the Swiss Parliament, was named Play of the Year. Piet’s documentary The Driven Ones, about tomorrow’s economic elite, was invited to compete at the renowned IDFA documentary film festival and nominated for the Swiss Film Award. Piet enjoys working collaboratively and lives in Zurich, where he also teaches at the F+F School of Art and Design.
