Alexandra Bachzetsis (born in 1974 in Zurich; lives and works in Zurich) is a choreographer, performer, and visual artist. Her practice unfolds at the intersection of dance, performance, visual art, and theater, creating a connection between the spaces in which the body can manifest itself as an artistic and critical instrument. Bachzetsis is the recipient of the Migros Culture Percentage Jubilee Award (2007), the Swiss Art Award (2011 and 2016), and the Swiss Performance Prize (2012).
